My Friend,

We often  say in Guyana we love a good fight.   I have spent much of my recent years advocating for the causes I believe in. I’ve fought for job creation, lower taxes and for a strong national security. I’ve fought against wasteful spending, corruption, and Jagdeo selling out our country for cheap dollars. And at the end of the day, I will always fight for what is best for the country I so deeply love.

My opponents are aggressively trying to silence me with lawsuits after they failed at their recent accusations. As one senior diplomat said recently to me, the PPP is an occupying force and will not go away without a fight.  He was being cautious in his remarks. I will not stand for these attacks and will respond to them swiftly with your support.
I am determined to continue fighting against the massive corruption of government under President Jagdeo. I have fought against the massive Value Added Tax (VAT Tax). This tax which is 16% is  crippling  families on fixed incomes and pushes back Guyana’s economic growth. With the economy in such bad shape, we should be cutting tax rates to spur job creation and economic growth. Our shared values of a simple “Guyanese Dream” must be realized soon.  We are deserving of that.  We want the basic things in life, adequate housing with safe communities, proper education system, yes with chairs and desks , computers and teachers who are taken care of so they do not leave, safe school transportation for our children, creation of new industries that will see new jobs and career growth instead of the same old, industries such as Alternative Energy solutions, the road to Brazil and building of a deep water harbour.

I’m ready to fight these battles, but I need your immediate support as we expand our campaign for national election. As a servant to our nation, I have taken my own oath to “preserve and protect” our country.
I thank you for your continued generous support for our campaign.   TOGETHER WE WILL

Sincerely,

Peter. R. Ramsaroop, MBA
